How We Do It
For 100 blinds and more, Jet City will mobilize our special blind cleaning vehicle and come to clean the blinds in your office building. We’ll take them down systematically room by room and clean them in order, returning the same blind to the same window. Our machine has two tanks, one for cleaning and one for rinsing. We then use our special treatment to make it look shiny, like new again. We then put your blind in a bucket to drain, wrap them up and take them back damp, to hang them up in the same window we took it down from.
We clean blinds up to 8 ft in size, using an ultrasonic blind cleaning machine. It uses a powerful digital generator and two piezio electro-mechanical transducers that are submerged in the tank with hot water. These generators activate the transducers which then vibrate very quickly. This vibration sends sound waves through the water at frequencies ranging from 25 to 40kHz which produces cavitation. When cavitation happens near a dirty object, the vacuum action produced by millions of bubbles constantly imploding, creates tiny pressure waves that reach deep into every nook and cranny of even the most delicate items. This tiny pressure wave dislodges and breaks up the dirt and other contaminants and gently lifts it away. The result is very fast and effective cleaning.
